The Evergreen Symphony Orchestra invites applications from outstanding musicians for the following Contracted positions: 

Principal Clarinet - 1 position 
Principal Oboe - 1 position 
Principal Trumpet- 1 position 
Harp- 1 position 
Violin Tutti - 2 positions 
Viola Tutti - 2 positions

1. Eligibility: 

．Have graduated from or studied at conservatory or university of Music. 

．Principal applicants must demonstrate prior professional principle-position experience.  

2. Application Procedure:  

．Application Form including Photo & Recording Video link 

．Application deadline: (GMT+8) 23:59 on 13th September 2026 or before, late applications will not be accepted. 

．Application method: Please send us the above application form as PDF File by E-mail. 
(eso@cyff.org.tw). The E-mail subject should be: name + position, such as “Peter + Violin Tutti” 

3. Screening: 
①Pre-Round – Prescreen 

Recording the video: 
．Record your performance in one take. The final video must not have any edits.  

． The video should include one solo work and one excerpt from the list. 

． The video must be captured straight from the front of the Applicant and in horizontal format that always displays the Applicant. 

．Capture your performance using the highest available sound quality. 

．Your audition video can be recorded using a smartphone camera.

Submitting the video: 

．Upload your complete performance video to YouTube. 

．Please include timestamps that mark the beginnings of each audition piece. (Instructions here: [Insert link to external instructions]） 
．Include your name, position and the timestamp links in the video description. 
．Please make sure that the video is accessible via link without a password. Choose  'Public or Unlisted' as the privacy setting. 
．Include the video link in the application form. 

※Applicants who pass the Pre-Round will be notified via E-mail by late September, and must confirm participation, repertoire and Accompaniment requirements by 7th October 2026.

②Live Audition (held for successful applicants of the Pre-Round) 
 

※Actual audition time and date will be communicated via E-mail latest on 14th October 2026.

4. Event Notes: 
．All information submitted will be used for audition purpose only, all documents will be kept confidentially and won’t be returned. 
．The live audition will include solo section and an orchestral excerpts section. A selection from the orchestral excerpts list will be announced on the audition day. 
．The orchestra will provide a piano accompanist, but you may bring your own. 
．No copies of repertoire or scores will be available during the live audition, please download them in advance. 
．Applicants are responsible for their own transportation, travel, and accommodation expenses. 
．The final round will be recorded for internal use. 
．The organizer reserves the right to modify and make the final interpretation. 

5. Employment Terms & Conditions 
．Contract Duration: Successful applicants will be offered a five-year contract, structured as follows: The first contract term is one year, the second contract term is two years, and the third contract term is two years. 
．Remuneration: The annual compensation is up to international standards and is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. 
．The annual service commitment is approximately 20 weeks of performances. 
．Additional Benefits: The Orchestra provides a housing allowance for non-residents of Taiwan.
